Find the right surf wax for current water temperature.
Surf wax comes in temperature-specific formulas. Using wrong temperature wax results in either too-hard wax with poor grip or too-soft wax that melts in hot sun. Always apply a base coat first — it adheres to the board and gives the top coat something to bond to. Reapply top coat every 3-5 sessions.
