Wetsuit neoprene thickness is measured in millimeters. The first number is chest/back thickness, second is leg thickness. Below 14C you need 5/4mm minimum with boots and gloves. Above 20C a springsuit often suffices. Too much neoprene restricts movement; too little risks dangerous cold.
